Sample FAQs

FloorMatch offers two types: (1) Profile samples — short pieces in a standard neutral color to show the physical profile shape (round, square, flush) so you can test fit against your stair edge. (2) Color samples — samples made from or matched to a specific flooring color, available for purchase when material allows.

Profile samples show the nose shape and approximate scale. Color samples are representative but may vary slightly due to dye lots. We do our best to match, and we confirm all orders before preparing them.

Samples ship within 2–5 business days. They ship in standard protective packaging.
